Outreach Teachers

Experienced certified teachers are needed for the Museum's Traveling Outreach Programs. Teachers travel to area sites including schools, after school programs, recreation departments and community events. This is a part time position, daytime, early evening and weekend teaching hours available. E-mail krissy@childrensmuseumineaston.org with questions or to apply.

Science on the Go! Educators bring engaging educational enrichment programs to a variety of preschools, elementary schools, childcare centers, and other children’s organizations.

Internships

Art/Art Education Internship

Assist in developing hands-on activities for our MakerSpace.  Interns also work with Museum staff to develope activities for a variety of settings, leading activities for Museum visitors, inspiring creativity and helping to produce artwork for the Museum.

Education Internship

If you have an interest in education, science, math, or any other related field, you'll enjoy this hands-on internship. This a great opportunity to plan, organize and lead activities for children and families in a variety of settings.

Education Outreach Internship

Intern would assist Museum staff in day-to-day educational development and planning for outreach programs to meet the educational needs of the community. Science On the Go! programs support the Massachusetts Science and Technology/Engineering standards as well as NAEYC criteria. Intern will be working closely with the Education Coordinator on the research and planning of new programs, focusing primarily on STEM.

Events and Public Programs

Assist Museum staff with planning hands-on, educational, family-oriented experiences, programs and special events. In addition to researching new programs and presenters, volunteer recruitment and management and some public relations, the opportunity to lead hands-on activities is also included in this engaging experience.

Development and Fundraising

We are looking for a college student, or graduate with related course work and/or interest in non-profit management, development, corporate relations or fundraising for an internship opportunity that offers to assist the Development staff with the Museum's diverse fundraising and development activities.  This internship also includes the opportunity to assist with major fundraising events as well as working with community partners.

Communications and Public Relations Internship

Communications and Public Relations Interns Museum staff in day-to-day PR and Communications efforts. This intern will work closely with the Museum's Operations Manager to promote the Museum in the community as well as to raise awareness for the Museum and our mission.
